Overview
Culinary Medicine is the fusion of culinary arts and nutritional science aimed at creating meals that are both delicious and beneficial to health. Healthy eating, particularly the Mediterranean Diet, plays a crucial role in the prevention and management of cardiovascular diseases by reducing risk factors like high cholesterol, hypertension, and inflammation.
This workshop provides a practical and innovative approach to managing and preventing cardiovascular diseases through proper nutrition. Led by a medical doctor and chef, along with a nutritionist, participants will learn how to prepare meals that follow the best nutritional practices, focusing on heart health.
During the workshop, participants will gain hands-on experience preparing healthy dishes that can be incorporated into daily life to manage and prevent conditions such as hypercholesterolemia.
Course Aims
