Overview
Today, people are living longer than ever. However, these additional years are often less healthy. Starting at around age 55 for women and 59 for men, individuals in the Portuguese population begin to experience limitations in performing usual activities and health problems that can lead to disability. To live longer in good health, we must adopt healthy lifestyles early on, including a complete, varied, and balanced diet combined with physical exercise. Longevity is about embracing a lifestyle that promotes well-being in all its aspects. It involves finding time for movement and physical activity that energize and keep us agile. It’s about taking care of our overall health. In the true essence of longevity, we discover the ability to live each day to the fullest. This course aims to explore the secrets of a nutritious and balanced diet that supports health and well-being throughout the years.
